To make the tea, brew tea bag or leaves in 8 ounces (about 1 mug) of boiling water for about 3 minutes. Remove tea bag or leaves and place brewed tea in the refrigerator to chill.
Combine all ingredients except tea and lemon wedges in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain over new ice in 2 collins glasses. Top with 4 ounces chilled Teatulia Breakfast Tea. Garnish each glass with a lemon wedge.
Lemongrass Singapore Sling
Glass type: hurricane or pilsner
Makes 2 cocktails
1 pyramid tea bag or 1 teaspoon loose leaf Teatulia® Lemongrass Herbal Infusion
4–6 ice cubes
3 ounces gin
2 teaspoons honey-ginger-lemon syrup or grenadine (page 126 or 132)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 ounce cherry brandy or Cherry Heering
3 ounces club soda
Stalk of lemongrass or maraschino cherries for garnish
